Wei Wei 魏巍

Born in 1970, Wei Wei has won major prizes including the 3rd Lu Xun Literature Prize, the 2nd Chinese Academy of Fiction Prize, the 10th Zhuang Zhongwen Literature Prize and the 9th Chinese Literature Media Prize. Her works have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Polish and Greek. Her books include Brothers and Sisters, One Person’s Weihuzha, and the short stories “Makeup,” “Old Zheng’s Woman,” “Little Sisters, Big Sisters,” “The Stone’s Summer Holiday,” and “Village, Poor Relatives, and Love.”
