Litro magazine, a UK-based monthly "pocket" literary magazine, is preparing a China-focussed issue, and wants your translated short stories! See their home page via the link above for submission guidelines.
Edit: The deadline, I'm told, has been extended somewhat, so be swift!
Comments
Hey Eric,
Did they say when the deadline was being extended to, exactly?
Cheers, Sarah

I believe around the 15th, or possibly a little later – so this is probably only any good if you've already got something on hand…

I don't have any translations, but I've got some creative nonfiction I'm polishing up for them now. I just wanted to know how much time I had left to panic about it!
PS: According to Duotrope (https://duotrope.com/market_508.aspx), Litro has a bad track record of responding to submissions--third highest on the list of unresponsive fiction markets, in fact. No biggie, but it does mean people might need to be prepared to query a few times to get a yea or nay on their work.
