I think there were some books there, but it was pretty hard to tell.
There were about 25 books, repeated over and over and over again. 7 of these were English textbooks; 4 were pirated Chinese dictionaries; 2 were about Photoshop; 6 were translated manga; 3 were about management (总经理的三十六计); 1 was a beat-up copy of the Collected Works of Lenin; 1 was a Vietnamese-Chinese dictionary; the last was a biography of Chen Yi with the last 20 pages missing.
