Feng Jiqi (1953 – ) 冯积岐
Feng Jiqi, born in 1953 in the rural area of Qishan County, Shaanxi Province, graduated from the writers class of the Chinese Department of Northwest University, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, was the Vice President of the Shaanxi Writers Association, a professional writer and the creative group leader. He has published more than 300 short stories in dozens of well-known Chinese magazines, and his works have been reprinted many times by well-known Chinese magazines and have been selected for many outstanding annual selections. Also, he has published 15 long novels such as The Season of Silence, Flee and Village, and a total of 40 collections of medium and short stories, essays, and novels, with nearly 10 million Chinese characters. Some works are collected by the Washington Library and some American university libraries. His short story “Both Door and Window Locked”, co-translated by Chen Du and Xisheng Chen, was published by Delos: A Journal of Translation and World Literature (University of Florida Press) in 2022.
