Pathlight: An Update
By David Haysom, published
Though you probably haven’t been hearing too much from Pathlight recently, rest assured we’ve been keeping busy behind the scenes!
We put together six issues of the magazine in 2016, and right now we’re working on the second issue of 2017. Up until now these haven’t been widely available (unless you’re one of the few lucky readers who managed to obtain a print edition) but we’re now ready to start releasing them online in ebook form. “Growing Up”, our Spring 2016 issue, is available now on Kindle and iBooks, and the others will be following over the next few months. Check out Nick Stember’s translation of “Finished” by Han Song over at the LARB China Channel for a taste of the current issue.
In other news, we’d like to take this opportunity to announce a slight reshuffle of the editorial team: Karmia Olutade moved on to other projects at the end of last year, and we’re delighted to have Eleanor Goodman onboard as our new managing editor for poetry.
And finally, we have an exciting announcement on the way about our next series of releases on our online platform, Read Paper Republic. Watch this space!
