Zhang Zhihao 张执浩
Zhang Zhihao was born in the autumn of 1965, in Jingmen, Hubei province, and is now a professional writer with the Wuhan municipal Federation of Literature and Art, as well as the managing editor of the Hanshi poetry magazine. His principle poetry collections include Unfortunate Praise, Animal Heart, and Warming Collisions, as well as the novels Coming to Terms with Life and Heaven's Construction Crew, and the story collection People-Watching at the Zoo. He is the recipient of prizes including the Poetry of the Year award (2002), the People's Literature award (2004), the October Poetry of the Year award (2014), and the gold prize of the first China Qu Yuan Poetry Prize (2014).
