Dai Lai 戴来

Dai Lai was born in Suzhou in 1972. She was first published in 1998, and her works have appeared in literary journals such as People’s Literature Magazine and Harvest. Her novels include The Fish Says, Practising at Life, Practising at Love and Falling for a Friend’s Girlfriend. She has received assorted literary prizes, including the 2003 People’s Literature Magazine Short Story Award.
