Wang Yiting was a top-prize winner in the 2026 Fubi Project. Upon winning the prize, she said: “I’m still very, very new to producing my own literary work, but I’ve actually been adjacent to creative writing for a long time. I’ve written fanfiction and webnovels and even scripted short dramas, but I’ve never really approached writing as a very serious thing. I’m grateful to the Fubi Project for giving me the chance to clarify the place of writing in my life so that I can treat it more seriously from now on. In this time when everyone seems to be retreating into conservatism and the classics, the Fubi Project is providing a valuable service by giving opportunities to emerging writings.”
