Patrick Rhine

Patrick Rhine graduated from Williams College with majors in Chinese and art history. He went on to study literary Chinese at the Mandarin Training Center in Taipei. Under the auspices of the U.S. State Department’s Fulbright program, Rhine also researched contemporary art history at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. He is currently based in Beijing, where he writes for the contemporary Asian arts publication Art Radar. He also works in freelance art criticism and translation.
