Megan Copeland
Megan Copeland is a Mandarin Chinese to English translator, writer, and sinologist with over 10 years experience living and working in China. Following a degree in Chinese Studies at SOAS, University of London, she undertook a research scholarship on Taiwanese Literature at Taiwan National University and then moved to Beijing, where she completed a Masters in the Chinese Economy at Renmin University of China.
During her time in Beijing, she worked at both the EU Delegation to China and the British Embassy, where she gained experience in politics, diplomacy, international trade and communications. Now based in London, she works as a writer and translator specialising in academic texts and literature. She has recently translated a short story by the Chinese author Xu Xiaobin called The Cure-all.
