Chen Qian 陈谦

Born in Guangxi in the sixties, Chen Qian moved to the United States to study for a master’s in computer engineering in 1989, and continues to reside there today. Her work, which includes the novel Love in Loveless Silicon Valley and the short story collection Capsized, depicts the challenges faced by members of the Chinese diaspora attempting to come to terms with their distance from the location of their own history.
