Cara Healey
Cara Healey is a Ph.D. student in the department of East Asian Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studies portrayals of gender in modern and contemporary Chinese literature and film. Her current research focuses on Chinese science fiction. Cara graduated from Princeton University in 2009 with a degree in East Asian Studies and has recently completed her M.A. at UCSB. She has also worked as the Program Coordinator for Princeton in Beijing and Princeton University’s Chinese Linguistics Project.
