Ana Padilla Fornieles (Spain) graduated in Translation and Interpreting Studies from the University of Granada before continuing her Chinese language and culture studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Her translations have been published by Penguin, De Gruyter, Books from Taiwan, Journey Planet, and Spittoon Literary Magazine, among others. She also translates nonfiction regularly for The World of Chinese. Her writing has been featured in Womanhood, The Shanghai Literary Review, Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine, Sledgehammer, and elsewhere. She lives in Beijing.
