Mei Yi 梅驿 王梅芳

Born in 1976 in Hebei, Mei Yi has had numerous stories (including “The Sorrow of Qi Mei,” “A Red Face Is a Sickness,” and “Did You See Zhang Xilan?”) published in literary journals and periodicals. Her work has been lauded for its psychological acuity and its distinctive treatment of the lives of factory workers in contemporary China.
