Scott E Myers

Scott E. Myers is a PhD student in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago, where he studies contemporary queer Chinese literature and visual arts. He holds master’s degrees in comparative literature from New York University and in Chinese translation from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. His publications of English translations include sections of Bei Tong’s 1998 novel Beijing Comrades in Amerasia Journal, the online diary of a Chinese retail worker in Walmart in China, and poems by contemporary writer Mu Cao in Epiphany journal.
