Poetry Sky is the first bilingual poetry online journal in the world publishing contemporary Chinese and American poetry and their translations. It was founded by Chinese poet Yidan Han. The first issue of Poetry Sky was published on February 15, 2005. Poetrysky.com belongs to Poetrysky—a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in poetry, enhancing poetic exchange between American and Chinese poets, and encouraging artistic creativity in poetry writing. The board of advisors of Poetrysky includes Robert Bly, David Young, Xie Mian, Hsia Ching, Ziqing Zhang and Quek Yong Siu who are well-known poets, critics and translators. Poetrysky is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Poetrysky's tax identification number is: 20-2415668.
