Yuan Shaoshan is a poet and columnist. Born in Macau, she has degrees from Peking University and Toronto University. She won the Macau Literature Prize along with several other awards, and her poems have been published in several magazines within and outside the Chinese mainland. She has published three collections of poetry, including Metaphysical Exile in a Bountiful World, Wonderland, and the English collection Zhe Li/Here.
