Yu Zi was born in August, 1985, and resides in Tianjin. She won first place at the Tianjin Poetry Recitation Competition while still in high school. She now attends university in Tianjin, studying oil painting at the College of Fine Arts. In 2009 she climbed Taihang Mountain. She paints, writes poetry, participates in artistic events, and lives in the suburbs.
