Born in Jiangxi in the 1970s, Yang Fan has had stories published in literary journals such as People’s Literature and October. Her publications include the short story collections Room of Gold and Qu Zi’s Balcony. She is the writer-in-residence of the Tengwang Tower Literary Institute in Nanchang.
