Wang Xiangfu 王祥夫
Born in Liaoning in 1958, Wang Xiangfu started writing in 1979 and became a member of China’s Writers Association in 1992. His publications include the novel Durian, Durian and the short story collection Furious Apple. The Lu Xun Literature Prize is one of the many literary awards he has received. His story “Fritter Hollow Chronicles” was translated by Howard Goldblatt in the anthology Chairman Mao Would Not Be Amused.
