Born in Chengdu, Sichuan, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Military Engineering. He worked as chief editor for “Dianzi Newspaper”, deputy chairman of Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Chengdu, and deputy director of Chengdu Radio & TV station. He is also one of the leading members of Chinese Science Writer's Association and the Chairman of World Chinese Science Popularization Writer Association。
