Mei Zihan is an author of children's literature, and a professor and Ph.D. Supervisor of Shanghai Normal University. He is one of the pioneers of children's book reading activities in China, as well as the member of China Writers Association. His best-known works include Daughter’s Story, and Dai Xiaoqiao and His Buddies; as well as the picture book series Stories of Lilaer.
