Lu Yuan 陆源 was born in 1980 in Guangxi. His works include the short fiction collections 《大月亮及其他》 and《保龄球的意识流》; the novels 《童年兽》, 《祖先的爱情》, 《范湖湖的奇幻夏天》, and more. He is also the translator of Bruno Schultz’s Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass and Cinnamon Shop and Other Stories, as well as Herman Melville’s The Apple Tree Table and Other Sketches. His poems have appeared in 《诗潮》, 《诗歌月刊》, and more. He lives in Beijing.
