Since he began publishing in the eighties, Lu Weiping has had his poetry selected for over 130 domestic anthologies. Named in 2008 as Poet of the Year by Poetry magazine, he is also a recipient of the Beijing Literary Prize and the inaugural winner of the Su Manshu Poetry Prize. His individual collections include A Foreign Mouse, Branches Growing Down, Each To His Place, and others. His poems have been translated into English, Portuguese, and Norwegian.
