A writer and editor, Liu Ting has had numerous stories, essays, and works of literary criticism featured in publications such as People’s Literature Magazine, October and Youth Literature. His published books include the novels Letters of Booker Village and A Brief History of Youth, and the essay collections The Lives of Others and Home. Liu Ting has been the recipient of assorted literary prizes, including the “avant-garde prize” in the 99 Cup New Novelists Contest and the 2012 China Book Review award for Best Literary Criticism.
