Dai Guanglei originally wrote under the pen name “Nanyang Rainmaker.” He was born in July 1986 in Handan, Hebei province. He is currently a graduate student at the Tibet University for Nationalities. While an undergraduate, he self-published two collections of poetry entitled Hourglass and Let Me Tell You.
