Anna Gustafson was born in the watery Pacific Northwest of the United States and holds degrees in English literature and Chinese from the University of Chicago. She spent some of her teenage years living in Northeast China and has returned to the country multiple times since, most recently as a visiting scholar training in the arts of translation and teaching Chinese language at Peking University. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area and is completing her master’s in teaching Chinese at Stanford University. (copied from Asymptote)
