Ah Qi was born in Chizhou, Anhui province in 1986 and currently resides in Beijing. During high school, his dream was to become a famous author, but then in college he fell in love with poetry. In the beginning he only wrote casually, but now he cannot go without it. His poems have been published in the Taiwan poetry journal Off the Roll, Poetry +, and on the Netease microblog New Poetry Canon.
