Calling all Road Warriors: Issue nine of Workers Write!, tentatively titled "Tales from the Concrete Highway", will contain stories and poems from the driver's point of view. We're looking for fiction from taxi cab drivers and chauffeurs, truck drivers, delivery drivers and couriers, forklift operators . . . anyone who uses a wheeled vehicle for work (even pit crews and stunt drivers). The deadline for submissions is Dec. 21, 2012. Word count: 500 to 5,000 words Payment: Between $5 and $50 (depending on length and rights requested). We will consider previously published material.
