She has also translated a full English manuscript of Chang Ying-Min's Teruo the Orangutan (猩猩煇夫), winner of the 2023 Taiwan Historical Novel Award for Unpublished Fiction, for Books from Taiwan. Her other recent sample translations for Books from Taiwan include Murasaki Fujiyama's As She Blossoms in Twilight (在偏差中盛開的她), Wales Xie's The Coffee Truck Playlist (胖卡咖啡舘,獻給不需要這世界的你), Huang Chu-Ping's Walk with Mazu (與媽祖同行), Lien Ming-Wei's The Last Ambassador (最後的大使先生), and Chang Kuo-Li's The Private Spy (私人間諜).

In addition, she translated selections by Lao She, Feng Zikai, and Zhang Tianyi for the Classics of Modern Chinese Literature series: A Lao She Reader, A Feng Zikai Reader, and A Zhang Tianyi Reader. She has also worked as proofreader for the English translations of Jia Pingwa's Happy Dreams (高兴) and Chi Zijian's The Last Quarter of the Moon (额尔古纳河右岸).

Before becoming a full-time freelance translator, Jun worked for many years as a journalist and editor, including at China Daily in Beijing and The Chinese Herald in Auckland.
