Tai Kuang was born in Lingyi, Shandong province in 1971. He lives in Beijing, where he is a senior journalist for the Procuratorial Daily as well as poet-in-residence at Beijing Normal University. He has received the Chinese Language Young Poet Award, the Mount Tai Art and Literature Award, and the Chinese Language Biennial Award among others. His works include the poetry collections Ballads at Three in the Morning, Time’s Postman, and five other volumes of poetry.
