Chen Rong (1936 – ) 谌容 De Rong
Chen Rong, contemporary Chinese writer, was born in 1936 in Hankou, Hubei, however, her hometown is Wushan, Chongqing. She graduated from Beijing Russian Institute (now Russian Academy of Beijing Foreign Studies University) in 1957 and worked as an editor and a translator in China National Radio Music Radio. Later on, she taught Russian for a while in a high school. She went to rural area to labour and experience rural life three times. Chen Rong is now a professional writer in Writers Association Beijing branch as well as a member of Chinese Association for International Understanding.
