For those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure, Read Paper Republic is a free online publication showcasing English translations of Chinese short fiction and poetry. We particularly focus on providing space for emerging translators to shine.

Read Paper Republic is a labour of love for the Paper Republic team – the team consists entirely of volunteers. But we are committed to paying each translator and editor who contributes to Read Paper Republic fairly. We need your help to make that happen.
