Linda Jaivin
Linda Jaivin is the author of eight books (including five novels and a biography of Hou Dejian, The Monkey and the Dragon) and a translator of both film subtitles (Farewell My Concubine, Hero, To Live, Forever Enthralled, City of Sadness among others) and co-editor with Geremie Barmé of New Ghosts, Old Dreams: Chinese Rebel Voices. Recent translations include chapters of Sang Ye's China Candid. She lives in Sydney but visits China regularly.
