Xu Yigua 须一瓜

Xu Yigua lives in Xiamen, Fujian province. More than forty of her stories and novellas have appeared in Harvest and People’s Literature, and her works have been reprinted in Selected Stories, Fiction Monthly, Xinhua Digest, and Novel Monthly. Her works have been widely translated. She has received the Chinese Media Award, outstanding awards from People’s Literature, Selected Stories, and Shanghai Literature, and the Hundred Flowers Award from Fiction Monthly. She has published the story collections Light Green Moon, You’re My Friend from Ancient Times, Tiramisu, and Palace of Serpents, and a novel, Sunspots.
