Female author Chi Zijian (迟子建) is one of the winners of the third annual Bing Xin Essay Prize (冰心散文奖), for her short essay 光明在低头的一瞬 (roughly "Illumination Comes to a Bowed Head", read the essay in Chinese). Previous winners include Jia Pingwa and Tie Ning (铁凝), chairperson of the China Writer's Association. (link in Chinese only)
