Chu Chen Books now presents the fictional and non-fictional works of Shen Congwen in a series of short, theme-based collections, organized in accordance with the author's own intent. "Travels in Western Hunan" and "Fenghuang" are accompanied by eighteen other independent collections, notable among which are "Xiaoxiao and Other Stories," a collection of short fiction about the Hunan countryside, and "Under the Moonlight," a series of short stories modeled on Bocaccio's Decameron.
