Not actually an author, but supposedly one of the few respectable literary critics in China. He is neither a) a doddering academic, b) on the take, nor c) a political hack (he is an employee of the Guangdong Writers Association, but he probably can't help that). Sadly, these three facts alone are sufficient place him head and shoulders above the critical crowd. His Sina.com blog is here [Chinese]. The good people of the Shanghai Century Publishing company first alerted us to his existence.
