Hui Shiqin is a young writer, poet, and magazine editor. She is a past recipient of the Shaanxi Literature Prize, and was named one of the top ten university poets in Shaanxi, where her work has been widely published. She has been chosen for inclusion in a number of year-end best Chinese poetry anthologies, and has published a collection titled Practising Metaphor.
